Chief Executive Officer of TMM Enterprises Group, Inc, Terrence Payne has more than 30 years experience in marketing, management, technical assistance and business development strategies for small and minority-owned businesses. Prior to establishing TMM, Mr. Payne held Marketing and Advertising positions for Pitney Bowes, Inc., All Pro-Broadcasting and KACE 103.9 FM. He was the Marketing Advisor for the Los Angeles Urban League Minority Business Development Center, Retail Brand Manager for Weber’s Bread, and General Partner for Taylor’s Grocery Store . Mr. Payne is an active business owner and community business advocate, with a vision for the highest quality of services to businesspersons and communities seeking knowledge and intelligence necessary for establishing and growing businesses. Mr. Payne has numerous awards and certificates of achievement.
TERESA R. WALLETTE
Teresa Wallette is President of TMM, responsible for its management and operations, has more than 35 years experience in business, operations and finance in the public and private sectors. Ms. Wallette specializes in business, financial and human resource management for minority and women-owned businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Former president, chief executive officer and owner of a high-technology, defense electronics and manufacturing company, Wallette understands contracting with large government agencies like DOD, DOT and major defense electronic contractors, as well as states, municipalities, and small businesses. Ms. Wallette also held senior management and policy positions with large non-profit organizations in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas where she developed innovative community and work source programs and increased their operational and financial stability. In the Los Angeles City Community Development Department Ms. Wallette developed training and evaluation systems and as a LA City Council Chief Deputy orchestrated key changes to the City General Plan. As a consultant, Wallette has worked with a number of organizations and businesses including Southern California Edison minority vendors, The College Fund/UNCF, Summit 2000, the Los Angeles Urban League, the US Department of Commerce, and OAPP a division of Los Angeles County Department of Health Services among others. Ms. Wallette has a Masters Degree in public administration and Bachelor’s Degree in political science; has served on the board of directors of numerous organizations and been a officer or member of numerous community, civic and business organizations.
SHELVIN E. BYARS
Shelvin E. Byars is TMM Board Directors Secretary and Financial Advisor. He has been in the field of accounting, taxation, management and business consulting for more than 25 years. He is Senior Consultant for The Accountant on Call, The Entrepreneurial Accountant which focuses on the SME market and those individuals aspiring to be successful entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors. Mr. Byars heads the firms tax services that include tax representation, tax consulting and tax preparation. Byars worked for the Internal Revenue Service as an Internal Revenue Agent; for West LA VA Hospital as an Internal Auditor; for a large non-profit organization as Controller; for the major accounting firm Laventhol & Horwath and as a Certified Public Account (CPA). Shelvin has an A.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Business Administration specializing in Accounting from the University of Southern California. He holds the distinction as an Enrolled Agent (E.A.) and has been admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. He is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA); California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA) and National Society of Accountants (NSA).
ASHFAQ CHOUGLE
Ashfaq Chougle is the Chief Technical Officer. He has extensive experience working with all aspects of software development including: analysis, architecture, design, plan, development, system testing, implementation, and documentation. Mr. Chougle has polished management and leadership skills, with ability to motivate teams to increase productivity, especially in time critical situations. He has expertise in full project life cycle development for implementation and integration and a deep understanding of technology with focus on delivering business solutions. Mr. Chougle has been the team leader and software engineer supervisor for all aspects of the TMM proprietary internet-based contract and data management system from its inception to the system upgrading and enhancements.
GERI WILLIS
Geri Willis is Director of Industrial Supply for TMM. Ms. Willis has more than 30 years of program management experience in a variety of industries including Vice President of PRWT Services, the Supplier Clearinghouse, the CA Public Utilities Commission Diversity programs certifying agency, and General Manager for SMS Transportation Services, the largest minority owned and operated para-trans company in Los Angeles and Riverside County (CA). Geri majored in Business Administration at the University of California, Riverside.
